ha, I liked The Illusionist as well, and had the exact same yet opposite thought.
I thought the twists in The Prestige were more and deeper, and the ending had me thinking back through the film after it was finished. I'll probably watch it again sometime to see how much more makes sense now. I didn't really consider the possibility of what was until toward the end, and even then only briefly, and thought to myself, nah... heheh, guess I wanted to believe the magic.
at any rate, I've not seen many great films lately. felt let down by quite a few, but I'm watching Winter Passing now as well. I like Zooey Deschanel. And then of course there's Blazing Saddles.
