Of course if you want to watch a group of older players past their best or younger players never good enough to make it in the top flight then I agree LA is a better choice than the Frog and Ferret Pub team on a Sunday lunchtime.
The faithful who stand in the pouring rain watching Spurs (or Nottingham Forest or Barnet FC or Gateshead) getting thrashed for the 8th game on the trot while eating a soggy pie and hugging a luke-warm bovril may not be going to a party afterwards with Sly Stallone, Beyonce and Justin Trousersnake but at least they are there for the football (what I call football supporters) - that cannot be denied.
We are going back to the Roy Keane outburst about Prawn Sandwiches.
I think the LA Galaxy supporters who attend matches for the reasons you state are more akin to the crowd at Stringellows rather than the crowd in the Kop. Who would you rather attend
a football match with week in, week out?
Tough choice.
(by the way, I'm not arguing here, just a dscussion

please don't be offended, I am the rare breed of girl who is passionate about footie)
