It's in your print options....this is Mac OSX freehand MX not that different from Freehand 10.

When your print menu appears like so..



Make sure seperations is clicked and click advanced options like so...




Highlight "Print Spot colors as process"...and be sure to have all CMYK clicked.


Then in imaging select your required print marks and make sure emulsion up and positive image is clicked. (Unless sending to negative)



Thats it Print away. All the spot colour and process colors will seperate CMYK.

(Small not when printing four color process colors and screens sometimes print a tad darker so you may have to compensate for that).
