That site that you offered as a simple example to someone could blow many so called designers' work out of the water-just go on line and Google for the sxamples of work by some designers out there, quite funny sometimes.
I think the site looked nice and the colours were understated but would be good for many sites these days.
You see, some people (well me) aspire to skills like this that you take for granted - good job.
