Hello everyone
Having just registered, I'd like to quickly introduce myself...
I'm from Hamburg, Germany and by job and education, I'm a computer scientist and software engineer. I'm working as a developer for a rather big software vendor who happens to make software that is rather relevant in the field of design. Thus, my interest in graphic design is more out of curiosity then professional, although I used to work as a tech/web guy in a small design studio where I sometimes also worked on design related stuff. One of the areas of graphic design I'm most interested in is typography.
I'm currently trying to learn more about the details of all aspects of graphic design so I'm trying to talk to people like you guys here that actually work in the field... I'm also hoping to get some of you to look at stuff I come up with and to give me some pointers as to what I could have done better...
