Well, after
my recent PC fiasco I ordered a shiny new Dell. It arrived yesterday and I stayed up till the early hours sorting stuff out - then was up at 7am on the phone to MS registering stuff.
I thought the ballache stuff was out of the way, until I tried to install my old secondary internal hard drive to find that it's not compatible! The old PC and HD use ATA Interface cables - the new Dell one uses, well I'm not sure what it is. I've never seen it before!
But never the worry, I'm transferring it via the family PC lol.
I'm well happy with the spec and performance of the new one though - I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new PC. It's custom built, but essentially the same as the third
Optiplex 755 here.
Fun times.
