I think it's very designer for a typical logo but reading the brief it's probably ideal

Could even be classy, classic or elegant. For obvious reasons, the text must be ultra-legible, whether large or small. Text rules but feel free to include an icon. I prefer a rectangular shape. Consider sturdy, dark, interesting colours. Avoid blue and anything cute. Must look good when people print web pages in black and white.
