Costa Rica is paradise. HOWEVER.
Even though you moved to a community with a guard get a good alarm system and NEVER Leave anything outside or in the car.
Don't get me wrong. The Ticos are awesome people but very poor.
That jam system and wide screen you'll probably set up is 3-5 years salary to them.
That $2000 video cam is nearly a years salary.
If you leave $40,000 dollars ( gringos years salary) on your dash I"LL STEAL it !!! LOL
